Shauna Chin Lands a part on “Criminal Minds”

Shauna Chin is a foreign born actress. She began her acting career in 2009 with a recurring role in a Caribbean television series. Since then, she has launched a film career in the United States.

Chin was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, West Indies to parents Keith, of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and Ellen, a teacher. Her sole sibling is Raxann Chin-Anguin (media personality, fashion designer and founder of the non-profit organization Save Our Island). Chin first became personally aware of worldwide humanitarian crises while attending good friend Vivica A. Fox’s Black Women in Hollywood luncheon and teamed up with The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation, with whom she has traveled to Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zanzibar to learn more about the situation and the conditions in these areas. (2009) She sits on the Board of Directors for the Universal Music Benefit for Orphanages that serves to provide health care and educational benefits to various orphanages around the world, and is on the Advisory Committee for the Caribbean Heritage Organization that serves to address all political and social issues concerning Caribbean descendants living in the United States. Chin is also an avid supporter of survivors of Human Trafficking.

Shauna Chin is now slated for a part on “Criminal Minds” TV series aired on CBS the shoot took place on December 10th.
