Producer Bobby Digital Has Died

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Dixon, aka Bobby Digital. Bobby was a Jamaican reggae and dancehall music producer who made lasting contributions to the music industry. He was one of the first Jamaican producers to experiment with digital rhythms in the 1980s. He worked with artists like Cocoa Tea, Garnett Silk, Shabba Ranks, and Super Cat.

Bobby Digital is survived by his wife Merva, three children, and two grandchildren.
